General, Doctor, Gentleman, Groundhog

General Beauregard Lee (PhD) has made his annual forecast, and it's to be an early spring for us all here in the Southeast! Learn more about Beau here, http://www.yellowrivergameranch.com/bio.htm from his lavish Georgia mansion, to the pagan roots of his illustrious profession. Happy Groundhog day!

Update: it has been brought to my attention that Beau (and his northern rival Phil) are not the only groundhogs in the game. Check here for the full spectrum of prognosticators, including a llama and something called a "wonder chicken": http://www.groundhogsday.com/groundhogcentral.php

Pets

That's right, pets for everyone! After years of wishing and a few near dog-napping incidents, I finally have my dog! Her name is Clementine (you can call her Clem). She likes surveying the neighborhood out the window and chewing on things. She is not such a big fan of Atlanta ice storms. If you'd like to see her you can check out her lovely mug here: http://homepage.mac.com/willsaraq/PhotoAlbum1.html I know you'll ask, so here's the lowdown: She's from a rescue shelter, believed to be around 2 years old, believed to be a corgi chihuaua mix, known to be a sweetheart excpet when she sees a big dog (then she acts like a ferral attack dog).

Will now also has his long dreamed of pet (besides Clem, who is of course his- every dog needs a boy). Hesperia the e-Mac arrived in our home this past weekend. We're still getting to know Hesperia, but all seems well. She's sleek and white, enjoys reading our email and helping to compose techno-spy music on garage bands. She is not such a big fan of our printer. Also, I dont know how to run a spellchek on her yet- and it shows!
